The Iron Workers Tri-State Welfare Fund aims to reward the hard work you put in every day by providing you and your loved ones with comprehensive and affordable health care coverage. The Fund also offers the financial protection of disability, life, and accident insurance coverage and optional Dental and Vision care benefits.
Employee contributions are not required nor allowed. Contributing employers pay the full cost of coverage and make all contributions to the Fund. Contributions are based on the rates specified in applicable collective bargaining agreements.
If you get married while you’re an active employee or a retiree, your new spouse is eligible for healthcare coverage on the date of your marriage—once you provide the Fund with the required proof.
